Kamado Rotisserie Chicken on a Komodo Kamado
Rotisserie chicken is great every time, add in some lump charcoal, a kamado grill, and rotisserie chicken is outstanding.
Rotisserie chicken is pretty much delicious no matter what grill or oven it is cooked in, but something special happens when you do it over lump charcoal.
HOT AND FAST IS THE KEY
While it’s typically only about a 45 minute cook, don’t be afraid to add some smoke to it.

In this video I show you how use the rotisserie setup on a Komodo Kamado. After you do it once or twice, it’s pretty easy to use. The big key is to make sure you have the rod adjust long enough so it will stay in place, but you can still remove easily when the cook is done.
450F is generally my target dome temp. Don’t forget to use the whole basket so you have even heat under your chicken, and add some wood for some extra flavor.
