How To Cook DELICIOUS Smoked Spare Ribs On A Pellet Grill
Trying Out Goldee’s BBQ Sauce
The color of Goldee’s BBQ Sauce made me not want to try it. It just didn’t look appealing to me. Several people told me it was great, so I decided to give it a go.
Start With Quality
I firmly believe that your end product will be significantly better, if you start with quality meat. For this video I used D’Artagnan Foods Berkshire Pork St. Louis ribs. These have more marbling, are a bright pink color, and have much better flavor overall.
Start Low
To maximize smoke flavor I started these at 200F on my Yoder YS640s. I also used a smoke tube for the first 2 hours. Once they got up to around 180, I used a foil boat wrap and dialed up the temp to 275F until they were done. I put a healthy coating of Goldee’s BBQ sauce on them and then let them rest for 15 minutes.
Turned out delicious!
