Zesty Herb Chicken on the Yoder YS640s
Many people say boneless, skinless, chicken breasts are dry, and lack flavor. That’s only because they don’t know how to cook them!

I actually eat a lot of boneless, skinless chicken breast. Whether it be on a sandwich, with pasta, or with a plate full of vegetables, it’s a great choice if you ask me. The big thing is that it needs to be cooked properly or it’s often dry, and lacks flavor.
The Setup
First and foremost, you need to get yourself a quality thermometer so you can cook your chicken to the correct temperature. Don’t be squeezing your fist, or cutting your chicken open to see if it’s white inside!
A marinade is an easy way to add flavor and ensure you have a juicy chicken breast
In the recipe I used a Grill Mates Zesty Marinade package (link in video or find at your local grocery store):
1 Package of Zesty Herb Marinade
3 Tablespoons of oil (use high heat oil in this example)
3 Tablespoons of white vinegar
1/3 cup of water
High heat for the win! Chicken likes hot and fast cooking
Directions:
Pound your chicken so it’s flat and even (helps to cook evenly)
Mix your marinade together
Place chicken in container that allows for marinade to cover chicken completely
Use fork or knife and poke holes (ignore those who say holes are bad) in chicken to help push marinade into chicken
Place chicken in the fridge for minimum 3-4 hours, turning every hour or two.
Preheat Yoder to 350
Place chicken on hottest part of grill
Cook 10-12 minutes and then flip
Cook until 160-160F (approx. 22 minutes in this example)
Let rest for 5-10 minutes
Enjoy
Super simple here, the marinade is the key, then cooking it hot and fast. Finally let it rest (very important), and enjoy.
