Unboxing My New Outdoor Wood Fired Pizza Oven

This year, I decided to add something new to the patio. A wood-fired oven was on my radar for a couple of reasons: wood-fired pizza and the challenge of cooking with a live fire.
Wood-Fired Flavor
There is simply no mistaking the flavor of a wood-fired oven. The pizza alone is amazing and unlike any other pizza you will ever have. You just can’t match the flavor any other way.
Step Learning Curve
The one thing I will share, it is a bit of a steep learning curve. It’s a completely different way of cooking. It’s an oven, of course, but the live fire element and managing that fire adds complexity. Don’t worry, if you are up for the challenge, you will conquer it. Just be prepared for some learning and to burn a few things first. It gets easier with every cook though.
